Join us on Zoom to discuss Little Infamies, a wonderful and unusual collection of short stories by the writer Panos Karnezis. As a young man, he moved from Greece to England: first, he studied engineering, and then later, pursued creative writing. In 2002, this story collection, written in English, was published and received considerable acclaim, both in England and abroad. The stories focus on a village in the Peloponnesus in post-war Greece - and on the individual lives of poor villagers as they struggled to adapt to changing and difficult times. This collection established Karnezis as an important literary voice in Greece as well as abroad.
A Zoom link will be sent to all HSoM members prior to the event.
